Because of the greater depth of field in the Porro-prism, 7X30 Navigator Pro, the binocular allows boaters to scan an entire seascape without having to readjust the focus. It can also be faster in locating navigational marks, hazards, harbor entrances, boats and other man made objects when used in conjunction with the integral compass. The right side compass is illuminated electronically, allowing the user to get a bearing instantly in the dark. The 7x30 Navigator Pro also makes a great back-up or second binocular next to a larger or more powerful glass.
