Precision machined billet lower receiver blanks are ideal for the "do it yourself" guy that wants a project, for future projects or for anyone that wants a cool "paper weight" novelty item. If you have the ability
and the time, these make a great project and a fine receiver when finished.
These items are ideal for "wall-hanger" or dummy guns, replicas, stage props,
conversion to paint ball or Airsoft guns, match grade competition rifles,
alternate caliber builds and general "plinkers".
I got mine and it's very nice; compares quite favorably
to a Sun Devil lower that I've got (it's actually a little beefier in places). -

Was very impressed with the lower I bought from you a few weeks ago. Very
nice work. - CP
Just a kudos note to you man. Your attention to detail and customer satisfaction is exemplary. The quality of your lower blows me away. Just incredible. - DM
At the 80% completion point, we've tackled the more complex milling and
surface machining and taken some of the work out of other areas.
What's not done?
This product has no fire control holes for the hammer, selector or trigger drilled, the selector detent has not
been drilled, the fire control cavity has not been machined and the trigger slot
has not been cut. Also, to remain in compliance, the pocket for the rear upper receiver lug is not machined out.
There is no other work done on the
part beyond what is shown or described above.
| Machined in compliance with recent determination 903050:MMK-3311/2008-680,
"Generally, if the receiver-blank can not accept a barrel and the fire-control
components can not be installed (or it can not easily be modified to accept such
components), it is not a firearm." And determinations 903050:MMK-3311/2009-323
and /2009-467,
"To rule out any misconceptions, we reiterate that an AR-15 type receiver-blank
having any fire-control pivot pin holes or indexed, or any portion of the
fire-control cavity milled in any way will be classified as a firearm pursuant
to 18 U.S.C. 921(a)(3)." |
Although the blank is not federally restricted, should you have

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. What's a 0%, 10% or 80% part?
An unfinished part, frame, receiver, etc, is just that... unfinished.
The manufacturing process has stopped before the item would qualify as a
firearm and would require substantial metal working/machining and a knowledge
of what would be required to obtain the level of completion desired.
These partially completed items are ideal for "wall-hanger" or dummy guns,
replicas, stage props, conversion to paint ball or Airsoft guns, match grade
competition rifles, alternate caliber builds and general "plinkers".
Probably the best description can be found here:

2. Who can purchase and complete this part?
Simply stated, as these are unfinished and require substantial machining
and knowledge to complete, anyone can order. To complete one, as long as
you can legally own a firearm and are not prevented by federal, state or local
laws, you may complete this item for your own use. By building a firearm
for your own personal use, you have in essence become the manufacturer
which is perfectly legal providing it is only for personal use.
Please be fully aware that you are making for personal use only and if you
have any questions, please contact the BATFE at www.atf.gov
3. Why would someone want to purchase an unfinished
product?
There are a number of reasons including pride and satisfaction, alternative
caliber options, alternative trigger packs used, ability to complete a unique
product, creation of a "tight specification" item for competition shooting,
Airsoft useage, custom paint and finishes and many more.
4. Are any machining drawings or dimensions, etc,
available?
No, we have nothing available to assist you. Inquiries on this aspect
will go unanswered.
5. Can you provide me with assistance to help finish this
item?
No. Please be advised that these receiver blanks are intended for the
home hobbyist with some metal working knowledge and are incomplete with the
aluminum being "in the white" and inoperable as sold. Inquiries on this
aspect will go unanswered.
6. What's my responsibility before ordering?
It is impossible for us to know and/or be current on state and local
regulations in various parts of the country. No firearms are offered for sale
on this site. It is the responsibility the buyer to know if they can legally
purchase and/or possess any products offered here. There are NO RETURNS
on these items and no items will be accepted if they are sent to us.
